Ajmer is the fifth largest city in Rajasthan and is surrounded by the Aravalli Mountains. It is a pilgrimage centre for the Sufi Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti and is the base for visiting Pushkar which is an ancient Hindu pilgrimage city. Pushkar is famous for the temple of Brahma.
